By accessing or using Cognitae ("the Service"), a Tacticus guild dashboard operated by Cognitae, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cognitae provides a web-based dashboard for Tacticus guild leaders and members to analyze raid performance, track player statistics, and visualize guild data. The Service integrates with the Tacticus game API to fetch and display guild-related information.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-provided data), is owned by Cognitae and protected by intellectual property laws. Cognitae is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Snowprint Studios or the Tacticus game. Tacticus and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COGNITAE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cognitae and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
